It's That Time Again

Well...it's that time again....

The time of year when my Grandfather divides up the contents of his fridge amongst the grandchildren before jetting off to Florida for the rest of winter.

He invited most of us over for dinner so he could dole out what he wanted. He even wrote a list out of the things everyone would get. Under my name it said: Extra pasta for Jim, Cookies, Ice Cream? My cousin Katie has the most under her name because she has a family and hence, according to my Grandpa the largest need for all his left over food. However, SOMEHOW when I left his house last night, even after only having three things under my name...I ended up leaving with the most. I became the catch-all for the stuff he didn't have on the list. I left with all of the following:
a) A little more than 1/4 of a peach pie.
b) A serving of left over pasta from dinner for my brother.
c) A margarine container full of ice cream so that my brother could have some peach pie a la mode.
d) A small bag of shelled hazelnuts.
e) Half a container of raspberry jello.
f) Half a loaf of crusty Italian bread.
g) A bag of Caesar Salad
h) A box of cookies.
i) One single packet of six peanut butter cracker-sandwiches.
j) One Klondike bar.
